May 11 2010 awarded PPOC Commercial Photographer of the Year in Mont-Tremblant Quebec at the PPOC annual convention!
The print "Sun Quest" was a loan collection award (See the photos here)
April 2008 reached the highest level by getting The Master of Photographic Arts award in London Ontario at the PPOC national convention and print competition.
April 2008 the print "Blue On Blue" received the Nikon award for Best Illustration in Commercial photography.
This Print had the highest score in Canada and will be featured in the 2008 Canadian Loan Collection
Sept 2007 in Hamilton PPO, all 4 prints in show. 2 as merit and won the best Industrial class award
April 15 2007 in Winnipeg PPOC, all 4 prints were accepted into the National Print Show !!
September 2006 in Alliston, Ontario at PPO convention 4 Prints entered and 3 were Merit Prints
Sept 2006 PPO convention - Kodak Gallery Award for "Environmental Impact" and the Toronto Black and White Award for "Free At Last"
2006 achieved the coveted Craftsman of Photographic Arts award in Halifax NS at the PPOC convention, this degree is acheived by showing excellence in photography and working to promote the PPOC organization.
May 2006 became an accredited Print Judge at PPOC convention in Halifax

April 2005 [PPOC] convention in Calgary Alberta. Merit award print " Splash"
September 2004 [PPO] Oakville Ontario. Print "The Darkroom" won a Fuji Masterpiece award as the best Commercial photo. "Feathered Light" was a Merit award. Print "Mood Light" was awarded Excellence. Print "Beautiful" was an award of Excellence.
April 2004 [PPOC] in Quebec City. Print "The Darkroom" was accepted to the National display. The Print "Mood Light" was accepted for display! The print "Feathered Light" was accepted. And the 4th print "Beautiful" was an award of Excellence and accepted as a Loan Collection print! All 4 prints on display at the National Level on my 3rd year as a member!!
February 2004 [PPO] Photographer of the Year for the N.E.O.B. branch of PPO was awarded to Erik Lovin
May 2003 [PPOC] 3 prints scored as accepted prints for display. The "Goddess" was an accepted score," The Creative Eye" went into Loan Collection for display across Canada and the" Eye On Fashion" was a Merit print. With these award winning prints and "Out Of The Blue" print, Erik received the Tibor Horvath Award in Ontario and 2 Fuji Masterpiece Awards for The Creative Eye and Eye on Fashion.
April 2003 [PPO] 4 Accepted prints with 2 excellence scores receiving the Fuji Masterpiece Award for best Portrait " Eye On Fashion " and for best digital portrait " Creative Eye ".
April 2003 [PPO] Tibor Horvath Trophy award for the LPPO member with the highest scoring entry of 4 prints.
August 2002 [PPOC] Merit print " The Flower Galaxy " and Accepted print "The Old Hermit"
